”Everything started with an idea of a festival without advertisements, slogans and plastic, without conveyor music and artificial trends. A cosmic culture festival, where music, art and we are in harmony with nature.’’
If you’re thinking of going to a festival in Latvia this summer, consider Komēta. It’s not only a chance to spend quality time but also has a strong and meaningful idea behind it as well as various intriguing and unique assets, for example, the no-advertisement policy.
This is a must-go music festival that has a different approach to those of other music festivals. Their main goal is to invite people to think and feel without the distraction of the hidden agendas that the modern day human faces on daily basis. The last day – Sunday – offers a free entrance for everyone, but we recommend buying the tickets and visiting Komēta on all of the days. The festival focuses on reducing waste, they offer organic, local food and is meat-free.
